If anything, he was just a                                      man that didn’t want to                                           live his life punching a                                            clock.  He didn’t want to wake up, and go to a job.  He hated crowds, dreaded congested city conditions, and couldn’t stand being told what to do.  But more than what he dreaded in life, was what he loved! The outdoors.  

    Norman lived and quietly acted as if he wanted to be the greatest Mountain Man who ever lived. And he deservedly, truly felt as if he had already walked that walk. So much so that he was content in leaving it up to others to talk that talk. But – unfortunately for him - there have not been that many people that have come forth to say it’s so.

    But, there are still these missing links to his story; a sort of stigma or some unforeseen details which seem to keep his name off of the tip of everyone’s tongue when they’re asked: “Who’s was the greatest mountain man that ever was?"
