If anything, he was just a man that didn’t want to live his life punching a clock. He didn’t want to wake up, and go to a job. He hated crowds, dreaded congested city conditions, and couldn’t stand being told what to do. But more than what he dreaded in life, was what he loved! The outdoors.
Norman lived and quietly acted as if he wanted to be the greatest Mountain Man who ever lived. And he deservedly, truly felt as if he had already walked that walk. So much so that he was content in leaving it up to others to talk that talk. But – unfortunately for him - there have not been that many people that have come forth to say it’s so.

Norman wasn’t really this
our “Mad Man of the Mountains,” is it because he was insane? Or simply angry? Perhaps it could be better said: “It’s a little of both.”
And thus our story begins . . . .
But, there are still these
